Text to Quiz
Paste text, get a quiz — no file needed.
Type a topic or paste any block of text into the AI tab, and review a drafted set of questions before you publish.
The short answer
The AI tab is a text field, so pasting text works exactly like typing a topic. Drop in notes, an article, or a topic description, set a question count, and review the drafted questions before publishing.
From pasted text to a published quiz.
Four steps, no file required.
- 1
Open the AI tab
Start a new quiz and switch to the AI tab.
- 2
Paste your text or type a topic
Drop in notes, an article, a paragraph from a textbook, or just describe the topic — it's the same text field either way.
- 3
Set a question count
Choose how many questions you want drafted.
- 4
Review, then publish
Edit or remove any drafted question before it's saved and published.
Text to quiz, answered.
Can I just paste text instead of uploading a file?expand_more
Yes. The AI tab is a text field — type a topic or paste a block of text, and it drafts questions from whatever you give it.
Is there a length limit on the text I paste?expand_more
Very long text may work best broken into a few smaller sections generated separately, but short notes or a topic description work fine as-is.
Does it work better with a topic description or full source text?expand_more
Both work. A topic like 'Create a quiz on Class 8 Geography, Chapter 3' works, and so does pasting the actual chapter text if you want questions grounded in specific wording.
Will the quiz publish automatically?expand_more
No. Drafted questions land in your Question Bank for review before anything publishes.
Is this free?expand_more
Yes, YonoLMS is free to start.
Paste it in,
review, publish.
No file, no formatting — just text in, questions out.
