Set up once, save time every week

The first hour you spend matters most. Decide how you will tag questions, usually by class, subject, and chapter, and stick to it. Import any questions you already have in spreadsheets using the Excel template. Create your first quiz on a topic you are teaching this week so you can see the whole cycle from creation to results.

Everything after that gets faster, because each new quiz builds on questions you already have.

Writing fewer questions from scratch

Most teachers write the same questions again and again across years and classes. Saving every question to the Question Bank ends that. When you do need new ones, the AI tab can draft questions from your notes, a PDF chapter, or even photos of textbook pages, which you review before saving.

Over a term, the balance shifts from writing questions to choosing them.

Matching settings to the purpose

For practice, allow multiple attempts and consider turning on the leaderboard so students can see how they compare. For graded tests, allow one attempt, set a time limit, shuffle questions, and require OTP verification so you know each result belongs to the student it claims to. For quick checks during a lesson, a per-question timer keeps the pace up.

Sharing with students

Every quiz has a link and QR code. Post the link in your class group with a short message stating the topic, number of questions, time limit, and deadline. In class, put the QR code on the board. Students do not need accounts; they open the quiz, enter the details you asked for, and begin.

Reading results in five minutes

After a quiz, open Question Performance first. The percent-correct bar on each question shows immediately which ideas landed and which did not. Then open the quiz detail view to see individual scores and time taken. Students who finished very quickly with low scores may have guessed; students who took a long time may need more practice.

Bookmark the most-missed questions into Revision so you can re-test them later.

Re-testing what students missed

Revision collects questions you bookmarked from any quiz. A week or two after re-teaching a topic, select those questions and create a re-test from them in one step. Comparing the re-test with the original results shows whether your re-teaching worked, which is far more useful than moving on and hoping.

Paper when you need it

Some situations still call for paper: a formal exam hall, a class without devices, or homework for students without internet at home. Any quiz can be exported as a print-ready paper with answers for your marking, without answers for students, or as an offline exam paper for students to write on directly.

Notifications and staying on top

If you turn on notifications, you are alerted when someone submits a quiz, and tapping the notification opens that response directly. For homework with a deadline, this makes it easy to see progress without checking manually. Combined with automatic grading, it means results are ready as soon as the last student submits.

After the seven-day trial, everything you have already built stays usable, including editing, sharing, reports, and exports.

Example: a tutor with three batches

A private tutor teaching three small batches builds one Question Bank for all of them, tagged by chapter. Each batch gets its own quiz link with its own settings, so results stay separate. At the end of each month, she exports the results and sends each parent a short summary with their child's scores and the topics to practise.
